Welcome to the first post from The Bonsett's new blog. Stay tuned for updates and pictures. Microsoft has our old blog all messed up so I am trying a new one from Google/Blogger. Hopefully we can recover all the history we have from the old one since it chronicled our travels to Kazakhstan. Stay tuned for more info and pictures. Reagan is doing great and is almost 10lbs. Alek is having some issues. Everything we do is a struggle the past few days. He would not participate in karate lessons or the 4th of July parade because he says he is scared, to shy, and too little. Gone are the days when he would try anything. Hopefully this is a short lived stage he is going thru. Getting him to knap, get dressed, eat, etc. is a major ordeal with lots of crying. Stay tuned.

Hello Bonsett family! I'm glad I got your new blog. I love you guys--you were so nice to reach out to me a year ago or so when we first started this process-and now we're on our way!!!
I am sure Alek is just reacting to having a baby in the house. It's a hard adjustment for kids, even though they love their lil sister. My mom told me awful stories about me when my sister was born. I tried to push out of the house in my doll carriage.
Even at 10 years old, my son is showing some things that I can tell he is anxious about having a new lil sibling. It's hard on kids when they are used to being the "only kid on the block."
He gets upset easier and cried because he backtalked me so I told him NO DONUT SHOP. He cried for like 15 minutes. I was like HUH? But I am sure it's not about the donut shop at all.
Alek is really a cutie and so is Reagan. I am sure that as Reagan gets older and more fun, he will be just fine. :)
I met another couple from Colardo springs who is adopting from Kostanai at the same time we are. They have a 5 year old son.The 3rd couple in Kostanai with us (all CAI families) have 2 boys...4 and 3. So, we all have boys...Sean being top dog. :)
